Take for an example this walking path in Wilderswil:

Outside our holiday house door turn right past the geranium decorated chalets, some dating back to the 1500`s., The Baeren restaurant at the crossroad hosts in summer a free outside evening concert once a week: swiss alphorn, big band ,swiss flag and traditional dancing. Continue your walk passing water fountains with the donkeys and sheep grazing on the hillside. Note the beautiful flowers and immaculate vegetable gardens. Follow the small path located next to the winter ski area for children through a meadow of chirping crickets until you reach the local mill museum located along the Saxeten creek. This is where the adrenaline sport of canyoning takes place. Cross the covered wood bridge into the evergreen woods where the ground is covered with moss and a variety of ferns.  Find Vita-Parcours (fitness trail) set up along the way. Now you are walking along the rock climbing walls and overhangs named by local climbers. Have a break at the public park equipped with bbq-grill and playground, shaded by huge chestnut trees. Following the creek on the gently sloping path we approach the mighty Luetschine river. The source of this river is glacier melt from the Jungfrau and surrounding peaks. You will  find good flyfishing here in spring and fall when the water is low and clear. It is also a popular river for class 4 white water rafting. Half way through our walk we reach the 12th century church of Gsteigwiler at the base of the Schynige Platte mountain, a great lookout point reachable by antique cogtrain. Gsteigwiler is the base of Bohag helicopter scenic flights and mountain rescue. Walk across the wooden covered bridge on cobblestone street and the train station is just ahead. Our walk takes us next through fields of corn ,wheat and grassland with swiss brown cows. Look up into the sky and you will see paragliders, hangliders, sky divers and an occasional hot air balloon. Next a easy climb up to the castle ruins to feel the history and enjoy breathtaking views of the yearround snowcapped mountains, Lake of Brienz and the Mystery Park.
